I like vintage looks. I have a tacky gene that loves to mix prints. I have fun trying new things with my hair. I'm a bargain hunter and hardly ever buy an item full price. I love to sew, and feel pleased as punch when I wear something of my own design.

Watercolor Flowers
Purple Czech Glass Bead Necklace: DIY
Rhinestone Necklace: Burke's Outlet
Antique Jelly Opal Ring: Gift from Hubby
Belt: Commissioned from Local Leather Shop
Top: Target
Skirt: Thrifted
Wedges: Dillards (clearance)
After seeing watercolor prints in magazines and stores, I finally came across one while thrifting. This skirt was the bottom half of a vintage suit set. I had absolutely no use for the jacket, so I left it at the thrift shop. The skirt is quite sheer so I wore orange bike shorts underneath for modesty.

PS: I got to check one off my blogger bucket list. Photos under a bridge. :o) Don't be surprised if we shoot here more often, the lighting is great during the blazing Summer.

DeleteMonet's waterlilies transplanted, or an oasis in the desert. That's what you bring to mind wearing your new skirt in your new location. wet and dry, cool and arid. Very nice choices you've made there.

ReplyDeleteOh good, the colors of the skirt didn't photograph quite like they should've so I was hoping it didn't look "off".
