Timmmmberrrrrr!

Czech Glass Earrings: DIY
Coin Necklace: Antique Flea Market
Coin Bracelet: Gift from Son
Belt: Local Leather Shop
Lace Top: Ross
Dress: DIY
Bare feet: God :o)

Exodus 3:5 "Take off your sandals, for the place you are standing is Holy ground."

Yes, I was bare foot at church.  I wore flip flops to walk from the car, but that was it.  My feet were still sore from cleaning in high heels (that weren't even tall!) after my Niece's wedding Saturday, so I claimed Ex. 3:5 and went with it. :o)  We had a nice heavy rain Saturday night, then early Sunday morning this big tree fell thankfully missing the playground!  Hubby's mom was already there making the morning coffee and heard it crash down.  I guess the ground was just so soggy, and the roots didn't seem to be very big, so that's what did it in.  It made for some nice pictures for me, and my Son loved climbing on it, so not a total loss.  Right? :o)

Orange You Glad?

Having some fun with the scarf...Hmmm, I might like it. :o)

Beads: Roadside Flea Market
Scarf: Bealls
Dress: Khols (Waaaaay Clearanced)
Half-Cami: Walmart
Heels: DSW

Psalm 122:1 "I was glad when they said unto me, "Let us go into the House of the Lord."

I had the perfect pair of earrings to wear with this outfit, but one needs to be repaired so I couldn't wear them.  If only I had remembered the night before when I laid my things out, I could've fixed it!  I didn't have a clue what dress I wanted to wear and had even forgotten this one was waiting in the closet for me.  I bought it during the after Christmas sales sooooo cheap.  I could've wore it with tights right away, but the baby only just now started making it aaaall the way through church without needing to nurse.  I was only wearing things that didn't require practically undressing (like this dress would) to nurse in.  Next time I wear this, I will add some bracelets and a ring.  I kept feeling that my wrists/hands were left out of all the fun!

Fruity

Butterfly Earrings: Bought the day Hubby proposed
Necklace: Burk's Outlet (old)
Bracelet: Burk's Outlet
Belt: Local shop
Top: Target
Skirt: JCPenny
Heels: Shoe Store in the Mall (super clearanced)

Matthew 7:16  "Ye shall know them by their fruits..."

This outfit (especially the shoes) makes me think of fruit.  I told Hubby on the way to church that I felt like Sherbert today. :o)  I got the shoes at the beginning of Fall last year for cheap, cheap, cheap.  It was terrible having to wait aaalllll through winter before wearing them, but it was so worth it!  Hubby bought me this top Friday on our Anniversary (10th).  He also bought me a bracelet that I'm sure will end up on here soon.  He wasn't thrilled with buying me such "small" gifts, but the cabinet I wanted for my jewelry wouldn't fit in our car that day.  I think he wants to go back after it in a larger vehicle. :o)  I realize my hair color has faded and is making me look a little tired/washed out.  I am trying to decide if I want to be Red a little longer, or go back to Brown.  I need to make up my mind soon!

Myrna Loy

Hat: Vintage
Butterfly Ring: Gift from Hubby
Gold Filigree Teardrop Earrings and Necklace: Gift from Hubby
Tassel Necklace: Vintage
Pink Pearls (Necklace and Bracelet linked together): Gift from Friend
Blouse: Grandmother's
Palazzo Pants: Made by Me
Heels: Vintage

This outfit made me think of Myrna Loy from the moment I decided to sew the pants.  I knew right away what blouse, shoes, and hat to wear.  I wish my necklaces hadn't gone into hiding for these photos!  Hubby gave the Butterfly ring to me at the hospital after our first son was born.  He did the same with the filigree set after our second son was born. :o)

We spent a wonderful Easter Sunday with my parents.  Since I wasn't at our church, I plan to rewear this outfit next Sunday.  So, I guess it'd be ok to post real outfit photos next week even though it'll be the same outfit?
