Cheating

Ruby Earrings and Ring: Gifts from Hubby
Red Beads: Great Grandmother's
Pale Pink Pearl Necklace and Bracelet: Gift from Friend
Czech Glass Beads: DIY
Red Snakeskin Belt: Thrifted
Pink Plaid Top: Thrifted
Cowboy Skirt: Thrifted and Refashioned by me
Suede Wedges: Marshall's

I didn't get a "real" outfit photo, but a Friend at church snapped one of me with her cell.  So I decided instead of getting dressed up all over again, in the same outfit today, I could cheat a little and photograph the components of the outfit to show off the true colors and details.  The cell phone pic looks quite orange!  I think I messed with it too much in editing, trying to sharpen it up a bit!  I looked something like a cupcake. :o)  It was such a fun outfit to wear!  The skirt was originally ankle length with a matching pearl snap blouse!

Elvis

Gold Hoops: Gift from Hubby
Tassel Necklace: Vintage
Red Leather Belt: Outlet store in the Panhandle
Animal Print Top: Ross (old)
Green Dress: Handed down from Friend
Green Patent Leather Shoes: A Mall in Colorado

We had lunch with my family after church.  My brother asked if I was going for an Elvis look with my hair. :o)  I said, "Sure, why not!"  My mom said I should've been with them at their church then, because my dad got too cold during the service and had to flip his suit jacket collar up Elvis style.  So my conclusion is we were both Cool Cats Sunday morning! :o)

Lime

Gold Hoops: Gift from Hubby
Orange Bramin Purse: Gift from Hubby
Belt: Thrifted
Green Tank Top: Target
White Tuxedo Blouse: Handed down from a Friend
Lime Pants: Handed down from a Friend, overdyed
Orange Suede Wedges: Marshall's

These pants were Khaki color, I'm not a big fan of wearing Khaki pants.  I might've worn them once.  I wanted to dye them yellow, but couldn't get the Khaki color out of them (I tried 3 times)!  I knew the Khaki and Yellow would make a green color, so I decided that was better nothing...into the dye they went.  They came out a great Lime color that has been fun to wear.  I still want a yellow pair of pants, but I'll just wait 'til after the baby's born.

Hubby:
Shirt: Target

Son:
Hat, Shirt, Socks, Shoes: Target
Sailboat Shorts: DIY
Cross Necklace: Borrowed from Dad :o)

The original Easter Hat I bought for this year looked TERRIBLE with my dress!  So I grabbed a plain brown floppy straw hat I bought at Target for $2 last year.  After some yellow spray paint, some folding and stitching, some hot glue and rope embellishments (that I made from cord in my sewing stash) it was ready for Easter.  It may be my favorite Easter hat yet! :o)
I saw a Nautical Scarf from Anthropology (sold out online and too expensive anyways) that I just LOVED!  So when I was at JoAnn's Fabrics and ran across Sailboat fabric in the clearance section, I snatched it up and made my own version!
My Sons shorts are what started the whole Nautical Theme for this year's Easter outfits.  I found that sailboat fabric at JoAnn's last year (on clearance).
I needed tights due to the preggy belly pulling my dress shorter than my comfort level.  I bought a light pair of grey lace tight from Target...they looked sickening on my legs!  I threw them in some black dye until they turned a charcoal color...much better!
FYI, the name of the color of my shoes just happened to be "Lobster"!  It was meant to be! :o)  I was shocked at how closely me Vintage purse and Brand New shoes matched...Happy accident, Woohoo!
I had my sister use my Easter Inspiration photo on my thumbnail when she did my nails.  I simply shrank and printed out the photo from my Pinterest Board, then cut a nail shaped piece.  She layered it under the Shelac Nail Polish.  I had found an inspiration photo 'cause the rest of my family kept asking what colors would be "Nautical" beside Red and Navy blue.  The photo was of painted wooden bobbers handing on a wall.

Hat of Easter Past

Hat: Antique Shop
Sapphire Earrings, Necklace, Bracelet, and Ring: Gifts from Hubby
Blue Beads: Friend brought back from Israel
Brown and Blue glass beaded Necklace: DIY
Bolero: TJMaxx (ages ago)
Dress: Thrifted
Vintage Brown Leather Pumps: Thrifted

Well here's the last post of Easters Past and I'm down to just a Hat. :o)  The bottom photo is of Easter 2010 when said Hat was worn.  I made that dress and I'm extremely pleased with it...can't wait to fit it again.  Since there's no way that dress could go over my baby belly, I got to wear my super cute green dress.  It is not Maternity so I plan on keeping it after the baby arrives.  Hubby said I looked like a Tulip...this made me happy. :o)  I did not know Hubby took a picture of my "back view" until I uploaded these pictures.  I decided to share since it shows more details of the Hat, Bolero, and Hem of the Dress.  I have found that every time I wear this Hat the wind decides to play havoc with the veil.  It's a little hard to see, but in the Easter picture the veil is being blown straight back behind me!
