I like vintage looks. I have a tacky gene that loves to mix prints. I have fun trying new things with my hair. I'm a bargain hunter and hardly ever buy an item full price. I love to sew, and feel pleased as punch when I wear something of my own design.

Poppy and Fuchsia
Cha-Cha Bracelet: Flea Market
Butterfly Ring: Gift from Brother
Necklace: Great Grandmother's
Sweater: Banana Republic (old)
Silk Skirt: Thrifted
Heels: Dillard's (clearance, old)
I have wanted to wear Poppy and Fuchsia together since seeing Gracey of Fashion for Giants
do it quite some time back. I wanted to link to the actual outfit, but now I can't seem to find it. Boo!
So, ahem, let's pretend that I did NOT go to church without ironing my skirt. It was curl my hair or iron my skirt...I took the most logical choice. :o)
That first shot was a "before I was ready" shot. Hubby likes to sneak those in. We both liked it for some reason, so not only did I keep it, I pushed it to the top. I like to put my favorites first.

Gorgeous! I love this color combination (of course) and love both of these colors on you!
ReplyDeleteOf course. :o) Thanks Gracey!
DeleteIt's a pretty combo and a good color on you! I like the first pic too.
ReplyDeleteOh good, I'm glad you like it too! I was worried we were weird. :o)
Deletewoo-hoo! You been sporting some hot color combos of late and looking great. I like the fancy names you gave red and purple too: poppy and fuchsia. Much more poetic.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with the more poetic sounding names...which is why I totally copied them from Gracey! :o)
DeleteJJ you look fantastic in this outfit. I could see you dancing and whirling around like an Indian princess in those Bollywood movies. Gorgeous.
