Petticoat

Beads: Flea Market
Black Belt: Had made by local leather shop
Top: Made by Me
Skirt: Thrifted and Refashioned
Petticoat: Made by Me
T-Strap Heels: Thrifted

Wearing a Petticoat really improved the look of my full skirt, but what I didn't count on was melting in the Summer heat.  I really didn't plan on being outside so much.  I guess I could have shimmied out of the Petticoat, but I didn't think of that until just this moment!  Oh well, I survived. :o)

More Orange

Earrings: Thrifted
Silk Blouse: Thrifted
Linen Capri: TJMaxx
Blue Leather Heels: DSW (clearance)

This wouldn't normally be an outfit I'd wear to church on a Sunday morning (more like a Sunday night), but I'm in between sizes right now and limited on what I have to wear.  I rather liked the outfit and would wear it again on a Sunday morning. :o)

Red Snakeskin Belt: Thrifted
Red Czech Glass Bracelet: DIY
Orange Blouse: New York and Co. (clearance)
Shorts: Refashioned from Trousers

This month's challenge on Everybody Everywhere is color block.  I decided to go with a look all in one tone.  I love Orange and Red together!  I wore this to my doctor appointment and received compliments from the Receptionist and the Doctor. :o)

We want you...to have a Happy 4th of July

Rose Earrings: Great Grandmother (mom's side)
Red Beads: Great Grandmother (dad's side)
Bead Bracelet: DIY
Tank top: Refashioned
Shorts: Refashioned
Leather Bow flip flops: DSW

On the boys:
Captain America t-shirts: DIY
SuperHero Shorts: DIY

My sister cut bangs for me...new way to celebrate the 4th I guess. :o)  This was a t-shirt I had from an old job.  I cut the sleeves and top off then added the light blue to make a new tank top.  My shorts were trousers before I refashioned them.

BTW...I think my boys are the cutest things EVER!!!
